Apply for Ration Card in Rajasthan

Ration card is an essential document for each and every person. It will be used as an important government document for obtaining different government documents like driving license, voter Id, passport, etc. Rajasthan government providing a facility to all its citizens to get a ration card online.

It is very useful for poor citizens so that they can obtain food grains monthly and fuel at a low cost. In the case of rural areas, the village sarpanch will take the authority of ration card, in case of urban areas the inspector food and civil supply (FCS) department will take the authority.

The applicant can apply for a ration card online or offline as mentioned below. Rajasthan government will provide 4 types of ration card as follows

  • APL Ration Card
  • BPL Ration Card
  • Annapurna Ration Card
  • Antyodaya ration card

Rajasthan Ration Card Eligibility:

  • Applicant should be an Indian citizen
  • Applicant must be head of the family
  • In case if the applicant shifting from one place to another they need to provide a surrender certificate.
  • In case of marriage or birth of the new child, an applicant should provide the birth certificate or marriage certificate.
  • If an applicant doesn’t have a ration card he needs to submit an application declaring that he doesn’t have a ration card.

Documents for Ration Card – Rajasthan

  1. Voter ID card – worth of Rs. 2 of court fee stamp.
  2. Residential proof – the electricity bill, water bill, receipt of tax payment

Rajasthan Ration card Fee details:

  • Application form – Rs 1 per card
  • Duplicate Ration card – Rs 10 per card
  • APL Yojana – Rs 5 per card
  • BPL Yojana – Rs 5 per card
  • Anthodaya Yojana – Rs 3 per card

Process of applying Ration card – offline:

  1. If the applicant wants to apply for a new ration card then he need to collect the form by visit the concerned ration card office.
  2. Fill up the form correctly and properly with all the details.
  3. An applicant needs to attach necessary documents along with the form.
  4. The applicant needs to submit the form to the jurisdictional range office.
  5. After submitting the form they will verify the documents and provide acknowledgment card where they mentioned the collecting date and time of the ration card.

Process of applying ration card – online

  1. To apply for ration card online the applicant should download the application form from the website emitra.gov.in
  2. Fill up the form with all the details
  3. After filling the form click on the “submit” button to submit the application form
  4. You will get an acknowledgment card with a unique number. where you can track your application for status.

Process of getting duplicate Ration card:

In cases if your ration card is lost, damaged and want to apply for a new ration card. You need to follow few points as given below.

  1. The applicant needs to fill up the Application form D- 1
  2. After filling the form attach two copies of family photographs.
  3. Also with two copies of challan with Rs. 5 penalty fee with the report of deporting holder.
  4. After attaching the entire document with the application form need to submit in the emitra center.
  5. After verification of documents, you will get an application form within a short time.
