Arunachal Pradesh is also called as the land of the rising sun, it shares common boundaries with many countries. In every state, the Indian ration card is considered an important document. Ration card is used for several purposes in the state like obtaining food grains from price shops, for applying for Voter ID cards, passport, and other legal documents. Also, the Ration card has been categorized into three parts BPL, APL, and AAY.

Eligibility for Ration Card in Arunachal Pradesh:
- An applicant who do not have any ration cards
- The applicant must be resident of Arunachal Pradesh
- Applicant must have the age 18 years or above to apply for Ration card
Required Documents for Apply Ration Card in Arunachal Pradesh:
- Voter Identity card
- Extract of electoral roll
- Latest telephone bill which should on the applicant name
- Driving license
- Identity card issued by the public sector or Government
- 2 passport size photographs of who family
Documents for Member’s Modification/Correction/Change in Ration Card:
- For member’s deletion: Transfer copy, Death certificate, marriage certificate
- For member name change: Affidavit of name change issued by Judicial Magistrate
- For members addition: Deletion certificate, New family group photograph, Birth certificate
- For the head of the family change: Death certificates, another specific document regarding the HOF change, attach an old copy of ration card
Other Modifications:
- Address change: a copy of any documents like a phone bill, Electricity bill, and Land allotment order should be submitted for new address proof, election photo ID
- For lost ration card: No additional documents should provide except old card but required the police FIR
How To Apply for Ration card in Arunachal Pradesh:
- Applicants can download the Ration card application form through the official website arunfcs.gov.in or else collect the form at the local ration card office
- Fill the form manually with correct information
- Submit the filled form to the office and collect the receipt for your application.
- Submit the necessary documents to complete your application process
Note: You need to pay the nominal processing fee
Process for Update or Correction in Ration card:
- Visit the official website of the government of Arunachal Pradesh (arunfcs.gov.in) and download the correction Application form
- Fill the details manually and carefully
- Then submit the form to Ration card office
Apply for Duplicate Ration Card in Arunachal Pradesh:
- If you have lost your Ration card then you can get the new one by the simple process
- Submit the application form with an affidavit of lost ration card in Ration card office with the fee
- After inquiry, the duplicate card will be provided to the applicant
