Step by step process to apply for Ration card – Online:
Step: 1 Now they are providing online facilities for many states, where you can apply for duplicate ration card easily through one, if your new user then you need to get register first or you are already registered user, then log in with your credentials.
Step: 2 Then the applicant should select FORM D1 for applying for duplicate ration card, fill the form with all details accurately
Step: 3 Then upload required documents like an Authorized letter from a Gazetted Office, an FIR with the local police station and the documents need to be uploaded accurately without any mistakes, if in case any mistakes the form will be rejected.
Step:4 pay the fee through Debit/ Credit card or net banking as per your convenience
Step: 5 After completing, you need to submit the form. Then the system will generate Reference number, this number can be used to check the status
Step: 6 After completing the verification, the duplicate ration card will be printed and sent to the given address via post
Step by step process to apply for Ration card – Offline:
Step: 1 The applicant needs to find the nearest local food supplier shop for applying for duplicate ration card
Step: 2 The shop will give you appropriate Form and the form must be filled with accurate details like original ration card number, address, details of family and more
Step: 3 Then you need to submit required documents like an Authorized letter from a Gazetted Office, an FIR with a local police station in the shop.
Step:4 Pay the Fee at concent counter
Step: 5 Once after submission, the shop will provide reference number, using this number you can also track the status through online
Step: 6 After completing the verification, the duplicate ration card will be printed and sent to the given address via post
